Back to School night
This week is back to school night. Classes are going well. I am concerned about some of my students but I believe they know what to do to get back on track. I am looking forward to meeting the community that will come in and visit our classroom on Thursday. There will be an extra credit assignment that will be brought home from that meeting for my students to work on. The only way to get the assignment is for the student to have an adult representative at Back to School night....I know I know that bribery...but hay it works... :) have a good week

Geometry Class Update For Sept 12
Hello all this week in geometry we have completed up to and including section 1-4. We have a quiz tomorrow on the second half of the packet. You grades are online and up to date as of today. Please check them. I will try to post the quizzes over the weekend but if they do not go up they will by the end of the day on Monday. We also had some fun today in Geometry learning how to use Geometric Sketch pad…(Ask them about it I am sure they would like to tell you) We will be using this program to discover some Geometry throughout the year. Have a great weekend and a good luck on the Quiz
P.S. Don’t forget the homework is due Tomorrow as well

Welcome Back to School
Hello all. It is the night before the first day of school. I have just finished watching Donald in Mathmagic Land. I know I know typically math teacher. So I have everything ready for you to come back and have a great year. I am looking forward to this year. I am teaching Geometry, AP Computer Science and BASIC. We will be making very good use of the computer lab. I have already posted your first homework assignment on my wiki (don’t worry its easy). Please come prepared for taking notes on Wednesday as we will be starting content. I hope my Geometry students have taken the time to look over and work on the summer assignment as we will be having our first quiz on the material Friday. Enjoy you last night of summer as tomorrow we start a wonderful school year.

We Are Back....
Welcome back my friends...It is time to get ready for exams....January 23 is the first day of exams that is only 3 weeks away and we have one day off in there as well just before exams. Class will still be moving on but you must start preparing for you exams now!!! Actually you should have already started but the past is the past.
I had a nice break and I hope you did too. I spent a lot of time at home with my girls and my wife. We had a lot of fun playing with all their new toys. I also had a lot of fun opening all of their new toys. I only needed a knife, screwdriver, pliers, and a wire cutter to get the job done...not to mention lots and lots of batteries...I hope you all got what you wanted for the holidays and are well rested. Lets put our noses to the grind stone and get to work....
